Are Reusable Grocery Bags In Actuality Causing More Hurt Than Are Good?

Each week tons of folks use reusable grocery bags to help save the environment, but they could be doing it at the risk of their own general health. You could be carrying more in your sacks than what you paid for.

Of the 89 bags tested, 99% had massive growths of coliform and at least 50% had too many bacteria to count. It was not possible to differentiate anything because there was a large amount of growth on the sample plates.

Consumers should be interested but not scared because coliform bacteria can be identified almost anyplace, but the big amount in one place makes the chances of getting ill elevate.

The solution. Wash your bags frequently with hot soapy water to kill any germs that are in the sacks.
